'The president is unhinged': Donald Trump's social media activity grows increasingly strange.

According to many watchers, across the United States and internationally, the president has been acting peculiarly lately. Particularly on social media.

Latest Social Media Episodes

As a government shutdown loomed within the United States recently, the commander-in-chief published a computer-generated clip which depicted the House minority leader, the first Black House minority leader, sporting a Mexican hat and exaggerated moustache, accompanied by mariachi tunes behind the scenes.

Hispanic advocacy bodies condemned Trump's posts calling them "racist", "hazardous" and "reprehensible", but Trump doubled down, publishing additional footage that featured him wearing a sombrero performing on guitar with a representation of the minority leader.

Computer-Created Material and Unverified Claims

This wasn't the sole instance in which the president's conduct has seemed unusual. Last weekend Trump reposted via his preferred network a computer-created false clip that advocated "medical bed facilities".

Each US resident will shortly obtain a personal medical bed card," the computer-generated president apparently seated in the Oval Office declared. Using this, you'll access assured entry to our new hospitals led by the top doctors across the country."

Putting aside the reality that the concept of "medical beds" represents a conservative conspiracy theory – one version of the theory posits that federal authorities and/or select rich individuals possess advanced medical equipment that can cure almost every illness, but are withholding the technology – the president's share generated several queries.

Presidential Answer

The content was eventually removed, but it remains baffling, and the White House's response did little to allay the confusion.

I believe the commander-in-chief viewed the clip and published it, then removed it," the White House press secretary commented during questioning about the clip.

Additional Worrying Events

During a latest address within the executive mansion where Trump claimed – against most existing evidence – that Tylenol could contribute to autism if used by expectant mothers, the president puzzlingly mentioned regarding "particular components of intelligence that could be provided to newborns".

The previous week, through a news conference with Britain's premier Keir Starmer, Trump mistakenly identified Albania with Armenia when discussing a peace deal created between the countries.

Michigan Incident Reaction

Regarding digital communications, recently the president posted on his social media platform that he "was informed" on a shooting at a Mormon church within Michigan causing four deaths.

He later published more material. However, it wasn't information regarding the developing situation in Michigan. Conversely, a few hours subsequently, he posted footage that displayed multiple golden accessories and decorations.

Commanders Meeting

Beyond the bewildering social media activity, the president's in-person appearances have similarly turned strange.

On Tuesday, Trump summoned the country's top military commanders to a conference in the state. Addressing the top military brass, Trump, sounding drained, touted his alleged successes.

"America is respected again internationally. The nation wasn't esteemed during Biden's tenure," Trump continued. They witnessed him tumbling on staircases every day. Constantly, the individual stumbles on steps."

Government Comments

The presentation caused immediate alarm, involving ex-defense officials. Retired military leader Barry McCaffrey told MSNBC that Trump's performance represented "among the strangest, unsettling events I've ever encountered".

"The president seemed confused, weary, rabidly partisan, at times stupid," the retired officer commented.

Trump's presentation proved sufficient for Congresswoman Madeleine Dean, a Democratic congresswoman from Pennsylvania, to approach the Republican congressional leader, Speaker Johnson.

"The president seems unbalanced. He appears ill," the congresswoman informed Johnson.

Johnson looked untroubled regarding the statements. "Well many individuals on your side are too," Johnson replied.
