The incident caused the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the multi-storey parking facility.

Two individuals are now facing charges in connection with a luggage theft where a suspected pepper spray caused injuries at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two robbery charges and two counts of using a harmful chemical, according to official statements.

This legal action stems from an investigation into an assault at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Earlier that day, two women were robbed of their luggage taken after getting out of a parking garage elevator, according to law enforcement.

A young child was caught up in the incident during the incident. Five people required hospital care and were subsequently released.

The incident – which authorities stated was not part of a series and not being treated as terrorism – led to disruptions to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
